I am originally from Northern Michigan and hold a license as a clinical social worker in New York and Colorado. I received an undergraduate degree from Hope College in International Studies and a Masters in Social Work from The University of Michigan.

Over the course of my profession I have welcomed the opportunity to work in multiple settings with diverse clients from all stages of life, providing individual, group, and family therapy as well as advocacy and support to survivors of abuse within the legal and child welfare systems. I began in private practice in 2017 and remain in the field feeling very encouraged and hopeful as I see continued movement towards perspectives that embrace treating the individual as part of a collective whole. Be it unity in mind, body and spirit or a person as an active and live part of their environment, the continued research, findings, and subsequent treatment techniques that supports the importance of unity and wholeness in healing feel promising for a happier, healthier, more whole existence. For this I am excited and deeply grateful to be in the field at this time.
